Ervin was born on June 26, 1928 and passed away on Tuesday, December 18, 2018.

Ervin was a resident of Sun City, Arizona at the time of passing.

He joined the Marines and soon thereafter, he married Cora Alice Cheatham from Creedmoor, NC on August 25, 1951 in Jacksonville, NC.

Funeral services will be held January 7, 2019 at Legacy Funeral Home, Sun City, AZ. Military Honors Burial will follow at National Memorial Cemetery, Phoenix, AZ (23029 N. Cave Creek Road, Phoenix, AZ 85024). Service Location - Legacy Funeral Home - Sun City Chapel 10702 W. Peoria Ave, Sun City AZ 85351 Viewing and Memorial Service - 10:00am Burial Service - 1:30pm at the VA Memorial Cemetery in Cave Creek Dennis Jerome Dinwiddie.
