Essie Earl Wood Obituary

GREENVILLE - Essie Earl Wood, 91, of Greenville, died Tuesday, October 29, 2019, at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital. Mrs. Wood was born April 27, 1928, in Muhlenberg County. She was a seamstress at Cowden's Sewing Factory, and was of the Pentecostal faith.

She is survived by her son, Paul J. Kelley; daughter Linda Kelley Lewis; 5 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; 4 great-great-grandchildren; and sister Irene Rose Thorne.

Funeral services will be Thursday, October 31, 2019, at 10:00AM at Tucker Funeral Home in Central City, with Rev. Chase Thompson officiating. Burial in Rose Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday after 5:30PM at the funeral home. Online condolences may be made at www.tuckerfuneralhomes.com.
