Patriotic Emblem

Eugene F. Tillman, 84, of West Louisville returned to his Heavenly Father Tuesday, October 8, 2013.
Mr. Tillman was born June 8, 1929 and was raised on 43rd Street in Louisville. He was a 1947 graduate of Flaget High School where he lettered in football and was a United States Army veteran who served as a Military Police Corporal during the Korean War Era. He was a real estate professional and realtor emeritus. Mr. Tillman was an ordained Southern Baptist Deacon, a Kentucky Colonel, a 32nd degree mason, Kosair Shriner and a member of the Plumb Masonic Lodge # 862. He was a 50 year member of the Kentucky Real Estate Commission where he served Kentucky and surrounding states from his business in Shively.
Among those who preceded him in death include, his parents, Albert and Katherine Susan Wyatt Tillman; sisters, Delores F. Nalley and Alberta A. Warden.
He leaves to cherish his memory, his son, David E. Tillman; sister, Barbara S. Hagan and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral service will be held at noon on Monday at Schoppenhorst Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Hwy at Brooks Rd.) with burial in Kentucky Veterans Cemetery Central. Friends may pay their respects on Sunday from 2:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Schoppenhorst.
