Eula Riddle Holder, 86, passed away on January 5, 2017 at Forsyth Medical Center. She was born January 12, 1930, in Mocksville, NC to Grady and Vada Smith Riddle. Mrs. Holder was of the Baptist Faith and was a member at Clemmons First Baptist Church. She retired from Western Electric/ AT&T after 19 years of service in the Coil Shop.

Mrs. Holder especially loved spending time with her family, with her grandchildren and her great grandson. She also enjoyed working in her yard and flower gardens. She enjoyed going to bluegrass music festivals and being outdoors in the summertime. Mrs. Holder was a member of the Over-the-Hill Gang and she enjoyed taking trips with them.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and her loving husband Grady Holder. She is survived by her two sons Michael Holder and his wife, Patsy of Mocksville and Craig Holder of Winston- Salem; a daughter by assumption, Arlene Rouse of Winston- Salem; Four grandchildren, George Holder, Gina Groce and her husband Allen of Mocksville and James Moore of Durham NC and Matthew Moore of Winston- Salem and a great grandson Aiden Groce of Mocksville. Three sisters Betty Jo Hartman of Mocksville, Penny Bowles and husband Jimmy of Advance, Linda Stephens and husband Jim of Swainsboro, NC, two brothers Vestal Riddle of Mocksville and Larry Riddle and wife Sue of Advance; and numerous nieces and nephews.

The family would like to extend a special thanks to Bermuda Commons of Advance and Palliative Care Unit at Forsyth Medical Center. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice & Palliative Care of Winston- Salem.

A Funeral Service for Mrs. Holder will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday January 11, at Frank Vogler & Sons Clemmons Chapel. Interment will follow on Westlawn Gardens of Memory. The family will receive friends and family on Tuesday, January 10, at Clemmons Chapel from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
