Eunice Dudley, at 87, passed to peaceful sleep in the Lord December 6th.

Eunice was born in Halifax County, VA Aug 13th 1930. She was the daughter of William Millard Irby and Minnie Reid Irby.

Eunice, being an active soul, was employed by Imperial Reading then went on to be a loving children's caregiver in her home prior to retiring. She had a thumb of emerald green loving to work her garden and flowers, long walks, and visiting friends and shut-ins. Also a loving person she was always there for her children, grandchildren, great grandkids and neighbors. She was a dedicated member of, former deaconess and prayer warrior in the Lynchburg Seventh-Day Adventist Church.

Eunice was preceeded in death by her husband of 70 years Marion "Buck" Dudley, sisters Irene Irby Ward Fulton, Rose Lee Irby Boan; brothers Raymond C. and William Millard Irby Jr.

Eunice is survived by her sister Betty Irby Lipscomb, children Connie Anderson of Chatanooga, Robert Dudley and wife Louise of Bedford, Joan Wright and husband Mike of Forest, Hilda Osborne and Jason Fulcher of Lynchburg; nine grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.

The family would especially like to thank Dorothy and all the staff of Avante of Lynchburg for their care, support and service to Eunice.

The family will receive friends Monday December 11th at Whitten's Timberlake Chapel at 10:00 A.M. with her service beginning at 11:00 A.M. in their chapel; a graveside service at Fort Hill Memorial Park will follow immediately after services.
