Ms. Eve McCune (97 yrs old) peaceably passed away December 20, 2016 at Southern Gardens Assisted Living Facility in Lake Alfred, Fl.
Originally from Michigan, she was born in 1919 in DeWitt, Mi and resided up to the late 60's when she moved to California and then she retired and moved to Henderson, Nv which she fell in love with when she stopped for a few days on her way to Ca. She played her music as "Eve's Key's" at the Henderson Senior Center and other centers around Las Vegas and Henderson. There wasn't a song she didn't know and the words to it. She was a member of the Salvation Army Church in Henderson, Nv.
She was an active woman and very independent. She played the Piano, Organ and graduated to a Keyboard. She played other instruments as well, which she played by ear. She didn't learn to read music until she was in her 40's.
She also patented a little device called the "Canasta Organizer" which was quite Unique. She was honored by the Cambridge Who's Who a few years back for this invention.

She is survived by just one of 7 siblings Howard McCune of Charlotte, Mi and her daughter Milly Wyman of Winter Haven, Fl. She has 5 Grandchildren Joe Wyman, Fred Wyman Jr who lives in Phoenix, Az , Jeff Wyman of Winter Haven, Fl, Greg Nickerson of Haslet, Mi, and Kurt Nickerson of Leslie, Mi. As well as many nieces and nephews and Great Grandchildren. She lost her son Cameron Nickerson in September of 2016.

Ms McCune loved life and a strong woman until began suffering from dementia in 2014.
She was loved and will be missed.
