Evelyn Francis Reznicek died Thursday July 7th 2016 in Terrell, Texas. She was born in Oscar, TX on June 3rd, 1927 to John and Frances Stastny. Her family knew her as a person who always wanted people to feel loved. She enjoyed knitting, crocheting, and sewing. Evelyn also liked to listen to czech music and cooking for her loved ones. She was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church in Kaufman. Sometimes Evelyn would drive to Temple, Texas to visit with her siblings. She and her two sisters traveled to Livingston, Texas to visit some of their family recently. Evelyn was deeply loved by her family and church. Evelyn or “Nana” to her grandchildren loved caring for people and pets. Her dog, Jewels and cow, Molly were also very important to her. She is preceded in death by her parents John and Frances Stastny, 1st Husband Steve Stastny, and 2nd Husband Emil Reznicek, her son Charles Stastny, and sister, Wilma Frerichs. She is survived by daughter: Joyce Marie Pool and husband Jimmie, sisters: Georgia Bartek and Dorothy Lightfoot, brother Clarence Stastny and wife Malena of Temple, grandchildren: Brian Pool and wife Desiree, Jason Stastny and wife Sara, James Stastny and wife Haley, great grandchildren: Brianne, Brindan, Matthew, Tiffani, Hunter, Logan, Valerie, Hagen, Dylan, Tanner. A gathering of friends and family will be held on Sunday, July 10th, from 6pm to 8pm at Anderson Clayton Kaufman. A celebration of her life with be held on Monday, July 11th, at 11am at the Kaufman Cemetery.
