Bragg, Evelyn, 90, entered into rest on May 30th.
She was a former banquet waitress at the Camberly Brown Hotel as well as other hotels. Mrs. Bragg was a member of the Virginia Ave/City Road Chapel Methodist Church and attended the First Church of the Nazarene.
She spent her life loving, caring, and serving others around her. In her free time, Evelyn enjoyed gardening, sewing, baking, couponing, and hitting up the occasional yard sale. She was an avid bowler. She loved attending church, worshiping God, and staying involved in many church activities. Her favorite time of year was her annual trip up to Deer River to spend time with her beloved family. She would tell you that you couldn't go until August when the fruit and vegetables were ready to harvest. There was nothing she loved more than spending time with those she loved. We appreciate all the love, support, and care given to Evelyn by her caretakers during her stay at Hosparus.
She was preceded in rest by her husbands, Clarence Schultz and Rudy Bragg; a brother, Earl Thompson; a sister, Opal Davids; a son-in-law, Jim McKinney; and a daughter-in-law, Debby Schultz.
Mrs. Bragg is survived by four sons, Gary Bragg (Cherie), Robert Schultz (Susan), Roger Schultz (Lavone Mattingly), and David Schultz (Debbie); two step-children, Glenn Bragg (Debbie) and JoAnn McKinney; eight grandchildren, Eric, Jeany, Michelle, Matt, Katie, Jason, Lisa and Brianna; eight great-grandchildren, Amanda, Kaylee, Jordan, Camdon, Addie, Jacob, Ava and Colin; and two sisters, Donna Danielson and Ruthie Guthrie.
Her funeral will be on Saturday at 10am at the Heady-Hardy Funeral Home, 7710 Dixie Highway, with interment following in Bethany Memorial Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday from 2pm until 8pm.
