Flo Nix, a long-time resident of the Marble Falls area, died suddenly of the flu, Monday the 23rd of October at Scott and White hospital.

Born in 1927 in St. Helens, OR, Flo worked at Boeing as Rosie the Riveter, a cultural icon of World War II.

Flo loved fishing, dancing, singing, video poker, traveling the world, socializing with good friends, and had a wonderful smile that could light up a room.

She is survived by her husband, John Nix of 64 years who will greatly miss her. Two sons Tom Nix, Bob Bell, daughter-in-law Gladys Nix, one daughter Bonnie Bell, several grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren, all of whom live throughout the United States.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to: The American Cancer Society, the Kingsland Community Church or a charity of your choice.

The Clement Wilcox Funeral Home, Marble Falls, has been entrusted with arrangements. Viewing will be from 9 A.M. Thursday October 26th and services at 1 P.M.
