Florence "Flo" Roberson, 94, of Milan, passed away Tuesday, December 27, 2016 at UnityPoint-Trinity in Rock Island.

Visitation will be from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. Thursday, December 29, at Hodgson Funeral Home, Rock Island. Funeral services will begin at 10:00am Friday at the funeral home. Cremation will follow, and inurnment will take place at Moline Memorial Park Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Edgewood Baptist Church Rock Island.

Flo was born, August 13, 1922 in Port Byron, IL, a daughter of Leo and Grace (Hartman) Sallows. She was united in marriage to Paul Roberson in 1957 in Rock Island. He preceded her in death on August 14, 1984.

Flo was a member of Edgewood Baptist Church Rock Island and the Order of the Eastern Star. She loved to bowl, play cards, and crocheting. Being a huge Chicago Cubs fan, this was a very special year for her getting to see them win it all.

Those left to honor her memory include her three daughters, Diane (Larry) Smith, Rock Island; Paulette (John) Gunther, Milan, IL, and Amy Kresse, CO; two sons, Ward (Sherry) Roberson and Wade (Bonnie) Roberson all of Rock Island; 12 grandchildren; and numerous great and great great grandchildren.

Flo was preceded in death by her husband, a grandson Eric Roberson, 2 sisters, and 2 brothers.

The family would like to thank Dr. Tom Ade and Dr. Michael Porubcin for the loving care they provided Flo.
