Francis Harmon Foley Jr., 87, of Manchester passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family at his home. Born in Richmond, VA to the late Francis Harmon and Josephine Foley, Sr. Growing up in Richmond, Harmon attended Benedictine College Preparatory, upon graduation he enlisted in the U.S. Navy where he proudly served during the Korean War. In 1950, Harmon moved from Richmond to NJ, where he lived in New Milford and started his family, he later moved to Old Bridge then Verona until settling in Manchester for the past 15 years. For 45 years, Harmon worked as a Salesman for several companies including, Continental Can Company, NYC, Federal Paper Board, Montvale, NJ and finally retiring from Menasha Packaging Company, Edison, NJ in 1997. Harmon was a Charter Member of the Old Bridge Elks Lodge # 2229, Past Exalted Ruler and District Deputy with the Elks, he belonged to the Renaissance Men's Club, Veteran's Club, Passaic-Morris County Club and enjoyed spending his Friday afternoons having lunch and playing shuffleboard with the AM-Vets in Jackson, NJ. Harmon enjoyed traveling and the beach. He was blessed with a quick wit and had a joke for every occasion. Small in stature he had a large heart and handshake to match.

Harmon was predeceased by his first wife of 30 years, Joan Ochs Foley and is survived by his loving wife and best friend, Carol Hill Foley, his two sons, Henry Richard Foley and wife Christine of South Brunswick, Francis Harmon Foley III and his wife Judith of South Brunswick, and his daughter, Patricia Ann Suhrie of Manalapan, seven grandchildren, Kathy, John, Ryan, Lauren, Caitlin, Shane and Brian and five great grandchildren, William, Shawn, Christian, Jack and Liam. Also surviving are his brother, John Janssens, six step children, Michael Raymond Sisti and his wife Patricia of Mahwah, NJ, Donna Lee Marino and her husband Louis of Paramus, NJ, Kenneth John Sisti and his wife Diane of Saddle Brook, NJ, Jeffrey Thomas Sisti, of Ramsey, NJ, Todd Christopher Sisti and his wife Suzanne of Waxhaw, NC, Shawn Douglas Sisti and his wife Elaine of Killingsworth, CT, and twelve step grandchildren, Louis, Briana, Kevin, Troy, Tyler, Rita Marie, Autumn, Mikayla, Amanda, Erica, Ariana and Joseph.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday January 24, 2018 from 4pm-7pm at the Anderson and Campbell Funeral Home, 3010 Ridgeway Rd., Manchester, NJ 08759. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday January 25, 2018 9 am at St. John's Roman Catholic Church, Lakehurst. Interment to follow at Maryrest Cemetery, 25 Seminary Way, Mahwah, NJ.
