Pastor Frank August Schoenle went to be with his Lord on June 5th, surrounded by his loving family. Pastor Frank and his wife Nancy, of 38 years, resided in Kemp TX where he was the Founder and Senior Pastor of Love Fellowship Church in Kauffman for more than 30 years and as Chaplin for the Kaufman Presbyterian Hospital for much of that time.

Born in Warren, PA on July 6, 1933 to August and Margaret Schoenle, grew up in Buffalo, NY graduating from Amherst Central School in 1951. After which he enlisted in the United States Army where he proudly served our country throughout Germany and Europe during the Korean War. Upon returning home to Buffalo, he was employed by Culpepper Company as a general contractor. During that time he worked with Ralph Wilson, Jr. to bring professional football to Buffalo NY by building what is now Ralph Wilson Stadium, the home of the Buffalo Bills. Due to Pastor Frank’s meticulous work with that stadium, he became the project manager for construction of Reunion Arena, here in Dallas. During his spare time, Frank enjoyed fishing, painting, playing board games, telling jokes, and spending time with family.

After retiring in 1985, Pastor Frank A. Schoenle surrendered his life to Jesus and has since spent his time as Senior Pastor at Love Fellowship Church and as a missionary to Mexico. His greatest attribute was his love for everyone he met and always left a significant impression of God’s love on each person he encountered.
