Baker, Frank W., Sr., aged 86, passed away Sunday, January 8, 2017. He was the devoted husband of the late Mary A. (Carroll) Baker. Born in Newark, NJ, a son of Epeneatious and Rachael (Graff) Baker, he was a longtime resident of Flemington and Chandler, Arizona before moving to East Providence, RI.

A United States Army veteran, he served during the Korean Conflict. He worked as an engraver at Pamarco Inc. in Roselle NJ, for many years before retiring. Frank was a congregant of Flemington Baptist Church, where he was a member of the choir and the bell choir. He was also a congregant of First Baptist Church of Tempe, AZ. He was an aviation enthusiast, particularly of vintage aircraft.

He is survived by his two sons, Frank Baker, Jr. and his wife Catherine Vieira-Baker of Riverside, RI and Edward Baker of Lakewood, OH and grandchildren Nathaniel Baker of Washington state and Felicia Baker of Riverside RI. He was the brother of the late Owen Baker, Leroy Baker, Thelma (Baker) Hunter, and Gertrude (Baker) Klapproth.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 22 at 4:00 pm at the Flemington Baptist Church, Flemington, NJ. Burial with Military Honors will be in Flemington Baptist Church Cemetery.
