Franklin L. “Frankie” Sheppard, 47, of Berlin, IL, died at 2:14 p.m. on Saturday, July 14, 2007 in Edgerton, WI. Frankie was born November 28, 1959 in Springfield, the son of Benjamin Franklin and Patricia Ann Clements Sheppard. Frankie was employed in construction. He also spent 8 months last summer working on a fishing boat in Alaska. Frankie was a member of Berlin Christian Church. He enjoyed playing the acoustic guitar, learning about history and spending time with his family. He was preceded in death by his mother: Patricia Ann Sheppard and brother: Ike Sheppard. He is survived by a son: Ryan Sheppard of Pardeeville, WI; father: Frank Sheppard of Berlin; sister: Rita Willhite of Berlin; brother-in-law: Joe Willhite of New Berlin; four nieces and nephews: Tricia (husband, Dean) Smith of Berlin, Sky Willhite of Loami, Dustin (wife, Rachel) Willhite of Berlin and Andrea Sheppard of Springfield; five great nephews: Logan, Lucas, Chase, Colin and Colby; one great niece: Heaven; and several aunts, uncles and cousins. Family will receive friends from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, July 17, 2007 at McCullough-Delaney and Butler Funeral Home, 714 E. Gibson St., New Berlin. Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, July 18, 2007 at McCullough-Delaney and Butler Funeral Home with Rev. Jerry Lynch officiating. Burial will follow at Berlin Cemetery.
