Frankie Lee Vann, 80, Snyder, passed away peacefully at the Snyder Oakes Nursing Home with her loving family by her side.
She was born on March 1, 1937 in Colorado City to the late Andrew Frank and Minnie Lee Padgett Moore.
Frankie was a woman who loved to work, working in the area from 1962 until 2003, she worked for Wackers, Five and Dime, and Better Cleaner, but her favorite job was being a grandma and great-grandma. She was a sweet woman and anybody who met her instantly liked her, and that personality made her ideal for being a caregiver. In her younger years she enjoyed fishing and camping, but as she aged with grace she learned to use technology and could often be found on Facebook or playing Candy Crush on her phone. She also enjoyed sewing and doing puzzles. Her visits and kind words of endearment that she left to family and friends will be truly missed.
Frankie is survived by her children; James Vann and wife Halley of Fredericksburg, Maurene Vann of San Antonio, Eddie Vann and wife Janie of Colorado City, Randy Vann and wife Polly of Littlefield, Belinda Alexander and husband Dalvin of Snyder, and Jerry Vann and wife Carol Ann of Colorado City. Also surviving are her grandchildren; Mark, Matt, Tim, Joel, Chris, Crystal, Kirby, Kourtney, Keegan, Mckeniah, Leslie, Zeb, Michelle, and Amber, and by her great-grandchildren Tanner, Cody, Aaron, Dalton, Josh, Jessica, Jet, Baryn, Lear, Charlotte, Rhett, Brady, Mattie, Scarlet, Zeppelin, Orion, Kasey, Noah, Caleb, Jonah, Shane, Reese, and J.J. and by great-great-grandchildren Asa and Issac.
She was preceded in death by her parents Frank Moore, Minnie Lee Padget Moore Kelley, her step-father John Kelley, her husband J.W. Vann, her son Martin Vann, her grandson Jeremy Shane Lewallen, and by her brothers J.L., and Maurice Moore.
A graveside service for Frankie will be held on Wednesday November 8, 2017 at 2pm in the Colorado City Cemetery. Those wishing may stop by the Kiker Seale Funeral Home on Tuesday from 10 am to 5 pm and Wednesday from 8 am -1 pm to pay their respects and sign the book.
