Frederick Otto Gallandt was born in Pinconning Township, MI on November 5, 1925 to the late Robert August and Ida (Reetz) Gallandt. He passed away in Linwood, MI on March 3, 2018. He was retired from Defoe Ship Building Co. and was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church.
He is survived by his wife of 65 years, the former Wilma K. Pinter, whom he married on November 22, 1952. He also leaves 2 daughters: Kathryn Gallandt and Christine Gallandt.
Funeral service will be Wednesday, March 7, 2018 at 11 a.m. at Penzien-Steele Funeral Home.
The Rev. David A. Jung will officiate. Private burial will be at St. John Lutheran Cemetery, Pinconning. Memorials may be made to the Salvation Army. Visiting hours will be Tuesday, March 6, 2018 from 4 to 8 p.m.
