Gail (Perlmutter) Eisenberg, 64, of Canton, cherished wife and best friend of Richy Eisenberg, passed away Saturday, (April 15, 2006) at St. Francis Hospital and Medical Center, after a long courageous struggle with illness. Gail was the daughter of Sylvia Salad and the late David Perlmutter; sister to Marcy and her husband, Tony Stabile; and stepsister to David and Bruce Salad. Family was Gail's greatest joy. She leaves her children, Sheri and Paul Tober, Dale Cohen, Scott and Christy Cohen, Steven and Shari Eisenberg and Peter and Jami Eisenberg all of whom she adored more than words can say. Besides her children, Gail was a devoted Bubby. All of her grandchildren were the apples of her beautiful blue eyes, Daniel, Brandon, Brady, Sammi, Chaya and Sofie. Gail will be greatly missed by her cousins, Gail and Steven; other cousins; nieces; nephews; brothers and sister-in-laws; and countless extended family and friends. In life, Gail was a talented woman involved in many things including synagogue, crafting, jewelry making, knitting, painting, decorating and more. Whatever she chose to do, Gail put her heart and soul into it. The family would like to thank the loving staff at the Cancer Center and on 8-1 at St. Francis for their special care and support. It will never be forgotten. The family will observe Shiva, Monday and Tuesday at the home of Sheri and Paul Tober, at 31 Sky View Drive, West Hartford. Funeral Services will be held, TODAY, April 17 at 1 p.m. in the chapel at The Carmon Funeral Home, 807 Bloomfield Ave., Windsor. Burial will be held in Beth Ahm Cemetery. Gail's family suggests donations be made to the Autism Society of CT, PO Box 1404, Guilford, CT 06437 or Beth Ahm Synagogue or the Leukemia and Lymphoma Foundation, 300 Research Pkwy., Suite 310, Meriden, CT 06450.
