Geneva Delores Blanco Galindo, 77, was born November 14, 1939 and passed away on Saturday May 27, 2017. She was born in Crawford, Texas to Theodoro and Louisa Blanco. She lived most of her young life in Oglesby, Texas where she graduated high school. In 1959 she married John Joe Galindo at the age of 19 and they moved to Hamilton, Texas where they raised a family, and shared 58 wonderful years together. Geneva worked at Hamilton General Hospital for 33 years and Hamilton ISD for 12. Geneva was always busy even after retirement, sewing and cleaning homes for several in her community.

Geneva was the rock of the family and was loved by all. She was preceded in death by her parents; four sisters; two brothers; daughter, Maria Denise Galindo; and grandson, Christopher Ryan Galindo.

She is survived by her husband John of Hamilton; two sons, Sonny and wife, JoAnn, Rocky and wife, Amanda; two daughters, Deborah Cockrell and husband, Humphrey, Tracey Ortiz and husband, Martin; two sisters, Delphia Harvey and Delores VanGuilder; and three bothers Leo Blanco, Charlie Blanco, and Sammy Blanco.

"Gigi" had 10 grandchildren, Brooke, Candice, Harley, Rachel, John III, Kristen, Louisa, Lori, Heather, and Adelyn Kay; 13 great grandchildren, Drew, Matthew, Kaelynn, Avianna, Jasmine, Jaysin, Noah, Joaquin, Zeke, Tatiana, AnaLee, Aydin, and Andrew.

Services for Geneva will be as follows: Visitation at Riley Funeral Home in Hamlton, Texas Wednesday 6 - 8 pm. Service will be Thursday at Riley Funeral Home at 11:00 am with burial following at Oakwood Cemetery in Hamilton, Texas.
