Geraldine (Reynolds) Flanagan was born in Canton, Texas on Monday, April 18, 1927, to parents Louis Bryan Reynolds and Ruby Geneva (Wheeler) Reynolds. She passed away in Houston, Texas on Wednesday, March 29, 2017, at the age of 89.

Growing up, Geraldine attended schools in Canton and Houston. She was a hard worker and retired from Kroger after 31 years of service. Geraldine worked part time for several years at HEB. After she was widowed, she lived with and took great care of her parents until their deaths. Geraldine was a longtime member of the Ladies Auxiliary at the VFW Post #8790 in Spring Branch. She loved to gamble and go to the beach. She especially looked forward to having her hair done on Monday mornings.

Geraldine is survived by a beloved family to include her sister, JoAnn Cude; sons, Mike Flanagan and wife Judy, Johnny Flanagan and wife Ramona; niece, Adaila Graves and husband Dean; grandson, Neal Flanagan and his wife Amber and by her granddaughter, April Flanagan. She is also survived by great grandchildren, Coralynn, Mikey, Dylan, Cheyenne and Harper. She was preceded in death by a great grandson, Jimmy.

Family and friends will gather and share memories of this wonderful woman during a visitation from 5:00 until 8:00 p.m. on Friday, March 31st at Waltrip Funeral Directors, 1415 Campbell Road in Houston, where funeral services will be held in the chapel at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, April 1st. A family interment will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday at Memorial Oaks Cemetery, 13001 Katy Freeway, also in Houston.

Honored to serve as pallbearers is Mike Flanagan, Johnny Flanagan, Neal Flanagan, Dean Graves, Ken Boehme and Mike Marshall.
