Gino R. DiNucci, age 96 of Cocoa Beach, passed away on Wednesday, November 22, 2017. He was the husband of Judith Christenson (Holmes) DiNucci and the late Concetta (DePaola) DiNucci.

Born in Fall River, he was the son of Onofrio and Mariana (DeVincenza) DiNucci, he was a lifelong resident of Fall River until moving to Florida several years ago. He was a communicant of the former Our Lady of Immaculate Conception Church. Gino was a lifelong self-employed general contractor and was employed as a carpenter for five years at UMASS Dartmouth prior to retiring in 1985.

Gino loved his family dearly, served on the Fall River City Council for twenty year's, he was an official umpire for the Fall River Jr. Twilight League, an umpire and referee for the Holy Rosary CYO league, longtime manager for the Clipper Little League. Gino was a member of the Sons of Italy; Vittorino Veneto, Lodge # 1035,Order of the Sons of Italy in America, and a member of the Knights of Columbus and the Italian Progressive Club. He was an avid golfer, Red Sox and Patriots fan, as well as playing cards.

In addition to his wife, he survived by three daughters, Elizabeth (Betsy) Leclair and her husband Edward of Westport, Susan Souza and her husband Robert of Fall River and Gina DiNucci of Fall River; Two step daughters, Jill Fisher and her husband Brent of MA and Dari Christenson-Ward of NH; a step son, Todd Christenson of NH; a granddaughter, Tracy Warila and her husband Richard; three step- grandsons, Edward, Benjamin and Camden; two step-granddaughters, Lindsay and Christie; four great grandchildren, Grace, Zachary, Paula and James. He was the brother of the late Edith Colavecchio, Millie Neto, Celia DiNucci, Adeline Desrosier, Donato, Frank and Armand DiNucci.

His funeral mass will be held on Saturday, December 2, 2017 at 9:00AM in Holy Rosary Church, 120 Beattie Street, Fall River. Visitation prior in the church from 8:00AM to 9:00AM. Relatives and friends are invited. Arrangements are in the care of WARING-SULLIVAN HOME at CHERRY PLACE, 178 Winter Street, Fall River. Burial in St. Patrick's Cemetery, Fall River.
