In lieu of flowers, please make donations in Glen's memory to Family Time's family shelter "The Door". Glen was always a champion of women's safety, respect, and care and had been his wife, Beryl's, champion during their 60 years of marriage.
Glen proudly served 20 years in the US Air Force and met Beryl Hodgson in 1956 while stationed in Liverpool, England. They were married in 1957. After retiring from the Air Force they lived in West Texas where he attended the University of Texas Permian Basin where he received his Bachelor of Arts Degree in History/Government in 1975. His second career spanned 22 years with the Texas Employment Commission Tax Department before retiring in 1997. In his retirement years he worked with computers and enjoyed playing bunco, cards, and dominos. Together Glen and Beryl, along with friends, enjoyed many cruises all over the world. Glen enjoyed helping others as he volunteered regularly for The Gathering Place, at Holy Comforter Lutheran Church. He was an active member of Atascocita Lutheran Church. Glen was a 50+ years 32nd Degree Mason and was a Past Master of Fellowship Masonic Lodge #1385 and Past Patron of Floyd Easterling Chapter #1074, Order of the Eastern Star in Odessa, Texas.
Glen is preceded in death by his parents, brother Bill Ragsdale, sister Wilma Dove; brother-in-law Robert Smith. He is survived by his loving wife Beryl, sister Audrey Smith, niece Susie Girard and nephew Leland Dove and their children.
