They enjoyed spending time with family, doing some traveling, entertaining and supporting the grandchildren, playing card and domino games with friends, and square dancing. Tootsie preceded him in death in 2002. Glynn was a devoted caregiver to his wife during her long illness.
He retired from the US Postal Service in 1986.
Glynn loved the Lord and would spend time reading the Bible and praying for others. He had a servant's heart and before his health regressed, he spent many hours helping those in need. He was a member of Pioneer Drive Baptist Church.
