While in high school, she was selected as a member of the ND All State Girls Basketball Team. Grace married John W. Faught on October 24, 1941 in Moorhead, MN. They made their home in Absaraka where they ran Faught Mercantile until retiring in 1978. Grace also served as Postmaster in Absaraka for over 30 years.
