Obituary for Gregory "Greg" Tymchenko

Gregory "Greg" Tymchenko, 69, of Stow, beloved husband, father, and grandfather, was called to his eternal resting place on May 22, 2020. He entered this world on June 9, 1950 in Ingolstadt, Germany to Gregor and Anna (nee Pfaffenzeller) Tymczenko. He is survived by his devoted, faithful, loving wife of 51 years, Karen Lynn (nee Kingery); daughter Carol Ann Tymchenko (David Barnewall); granddaughter, Olivia Paige Valinotti, Jacob and Nicholas Barnewall; siblings, Lottie Moore (late Guy), Christine Owens, Elaine Ryder (Bob), Leslie Kingery, Froud Kingery, Robert Kingery, Richard Kingery, Deanna Bill (late Joseph).
Greg was a dedicated family man, generous provider and hard worker. He was a good friend, brother-in-law and uncle, and was always helping those in need. Greg could be very funny and was always willing to "tell it like it is" whether you asked for his opinion or not. He was a warrior, and fought cancer courageously for over a year, drawing strength to continue from his loving family. One more day with them was worth all the hard work.

Family will receive friends on Sunday, May 31, 2020 from 2pm-5pm at BUSCH FUNERAL HOME 163 Avon Belden Rd., Avon Lake with social distancing. Private Funeral service by Busch Celebrant by Heidi Thimke. Private interment at Resthaven Memorial Gardens.
