"Let each of us please his neighbor for his good, to build him up".Romans 15:2 This verse speaks volumes about Gregory "Greg" Odell Linville, 68, who went to be with his Lord and Savior Thursday, June 29, 2017, at the Caromont Regional Medical Center. Greg was active and helpful in his church. Those who knew him only had positive things to say about him. Greg was a kind, humble, hardworking and caring man who would do anything for his family and friends. He loved taking care of his family and the neighborhood children. He provided a safe place for all who came into his presence. Described by his family, Greg was known as PePaw and was an awesome husband, father, grandfather and father in law. Serving his country proudly and honorably in the United States Army during the Vietnam War, Greg was an Army Corpsman achieving the rank of SPC-5. He'll be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Greg was the son of the late Isreal Odell Linville and Rosalee Rhodes Linville. He was also preceded in death by one sister, Birdie Cooper and one brother, James Bert Linville.
