Gregory T. Recksieck, of Rock Island Nursing & Rehab Center, died Sunday, September 20, 2015 at UnityPoint Health - Trinity, Rock Island.

His body will be cremated. No services are scheduled at this time. Hodgson Funeral Home, Rock Island, is in charge of arrangements.

Gregory was born on November 17, 1945 in Rock Island, the son of Howard Louis and Dolores (Kipping) Recksieck. He was a 1967 graduate of St. Ambrose College, Davenport, earning his B.A. in Mathematics.

Gregory's one true love was music. He taught drums, and played in many bands both regionally and nationally.

Mr. Recksieck is survived by all those whose lives he touched, as his family has all passed away.
