Guy "C" Sheets, 57, of Hanahan, SC died Saturday, March 17, 2012. He was born July 26, 1954 in Kenosha, WI, son of the late Robert E. Sheets and Margaret Gilbert Sheets. He proudly served in the United States Coast Guard for 23 years, and volunteered his time at Habitat for Humanity.
He is survived by his wife Anne Sheets and his mother Margaret Sheets, both of Hanahan, SC. He was the proud father of two sons: Jason Sheets with wife Heather of Lillington, NC and Patrick Sheets of San Rafael, CA, and he was blessed with one grandson, Guy Cameron Sheets of Lillington, NC. Surviving siblings include Gail Magson of Wichita, KS, Sandra Chaves of Fremont, CA, Gary Sheets of Oakland, CA and Bill Brooks of Fremont, CA.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, March 24th, 2012 at 3:00 PM at Messiah Lutheran Church, 1106 Yeamans Hall Road, Hanahan SC 29410. Pastor Craig Versprille officiating.
Memorials in his honor may be directed to Habitat for Humanity, 408 South Live Oak Drive, Moncks Corner, SC 29461, or Messiah Lutheran Church, 1106 Yeamans Hall Road, Hanahan, SC 29410.
