HARLEY BACKSTROM, 63, of Holiday, FL passed away Saturday, Feb. 6, 2016 at Helen Ellis Hospital in Tarpon Springs, FL.

Harley was born July 25, 1952 at Hammond, IN to Lauren and Doris (Caldwell) Backstrom. He married Mary Martino August 7, 1976 at Chicago, IL and she survives. He was a maintenance worker.

Harley is survived by his wife Mary Backstrom of Holiday, FL; one daughter Nicole (Joe) Maulucci of Holiday, FL and one son Lauren Backstrom of New Port Richey, FL; two sisters Shannon (Bob) Grilec of Evergreen Park, IL and Shelley (Rick) Bowles of Johnsonville, IL; two brothers Richard (Linda) Backstrom of Clay City, IL and Mark (Karen) Backstrom of Mt. Vernon, IL. Also surviving are five grandchildren Joey Maulucci, Dominic Manlucci, Kaitlyn Backstrom, Viola Backstrom, and Jonathon Backstrom.

Preceding him in death were his parents, two sisters April Williams and Iris Backstrom, and two brothers John Backstrom and Dewey Backstrom.

Graveside service will be 11AM Saturday, Feb. 13, 2015 at Cisne Cemetery. Visitation will be 5-8PM Friday, Feb. 12, 2015 at Hosselton Funeral Home.
