ARROWSMITH - Harold Phinney, 82, of Arrowsmith, died Tuesday (Oct. 20, 2015) at Heritage Health in El Paso.

Harold was born on Oct. 3, 1933, in Colfax, to Floyd and Beulah Phinney. He married Marilyn Tipsord in April 1951. Harold spent most of his life employed as a union cement finisher. He was also a member of the National Guard.

Harold is survived by his son, Floyd Phinney, Minonk; seven grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; siblings, Donna (Bruno) Orsowy, Chenoa; Alfred (Linda) Donaldson, West Plains, Mo.; Alice (Homer) Bridgeforth, Flannigan, IL.; Jerry (Claudia) Donaldson, King George, Va.; Brenda (Tim) Merrback, Mount Sidney, Va.; and Phyllis (Paul) White, Pontiac.

Harold was preceded in death by his wife, Marilyn; three infant children; his parents; and siblings, Ralf Phinney, Margaret Bricker, Doris Smock, and Everett (Butch) Donaldson.

Visitation for Harold will be at 10 a.m. Friday at East Lawn Funeral Home, Bloomington, followed by his funeral at 11 a.m. A graveside service will follow at noon at East Lawn Memorial Gardens.
