Harold D. Rawley, or "Hal" as he was known to friends, passed away in his home in Pearland Texas after a fight with lung cancer. He was a native Texan who was born here in Houston Texas on October 10th 1933 to Mary Malone Rawley while his father Daniel P. Rawley was away serving in the United States Navy. He grew up in California where he joined the civil air patrol and as soon as possible (1 day after his 18th birthday) he enlisted in the United States Air Force.

There he met his first wife, Ivah "Ivy" Marie Brink Rawley. They had two children Daniel Clayton Rawley and Diana Blythe Rawley. He retired as a Senior Master Sargent after more than 20 years of service and moved to the Houston area. He then began a career as an instructor in various settings. On April 1st 1985 he divorced his first wife and on June 2nd 1985, he married Sylvia Caplan. They eventually settled in Pearland, Texas where he began a career in acting. He appeared on various commercials, voice overs and advertising pamphlets.

He became a widower on September 22, 2014 and stated he would die one year later. On September 22, 2015, at the age of 81, he kept his word.
He is survived by his son and daughter, and Daniel's children Alexandria Dawn Rawley and Ian Connor Rawley and Diana's two children Laurel Lindsley Rawley and Liana Lindsley Rawley. He is also survived by Sylvia's children, Curtis Caplan, Mark Caplan, and Marcia and her husband Randall Davidoff; and their children, Adam and Heather Davidoff and Justin and Jennifer Davidoff; and Sylvia's great-grandson, Noah Davidoff and by Sylvia's sister and brother-in-law, Doryn and Steven Chervin of Dunwoody, Ga. May he rest in peace next to his beloved Sylvia. He was loved and will be missed.
