Hazel Estelle McCoy Otts, affectionately known as "Chuck", age 93, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, January 6, 2017 at NMMC Pontotoc.

She was born December 20, 1923 in Pontotoc County to Fern Lee and Jettie Magill McCoy. She was married to Raymond Otts on August 31, 1941. She was a homemaker and a member of Algoma Baptist Church.

Before a decline in health, she enjoyed reading, working in her yard, and delighted in the beauty of her azaleas. In her later years, she enjoyed spending time with her great-grandchildren. They always put a smile on her face.

Services will be at 2 PM Monday, January 9, 2017 at Browning Funeral Home Chapel in Pontotoc with Bro. Don Smith officiating. Burial will be in Jernigan Cemetery. Browning Funeral Home in Pontotoc is in charge of the arrangements.

She is survived by two daughters, Linda Graham (Garry) and Diane Montgomery (Larry) of Pontotoc, MS; one son, Larry Otts (Anne) of Oxford, MS; three sisters, Blanche Crawford, Adelle Cruse and Vara Montgomery (Audrane) of Pontotoc, MS; one brother, Lamar McCoy of Pontotoc, MS; two sisters-in-law, Gwendola McCoy of Pontotoc and Dorothy McCoy of Algoma, MS; five grandchildren, Susan Gillespie (Roy), Bentley Otts (Stephanie), Marty Graham (Dawn), Laura Ramsey and Kelli Warren (Jason); ten great-grandchildren, Jacob and Ben Parrish, Colby and Cason Graham, Abi Grace, Cooper and Grayson Warren, Bradley Ramsey, Kayle Perry and Dillon Otts; and two great-great-grandchildren, Beaux Perry and Dorothy Parrish.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; one son, Terry Otts; two grandsons, Kevin Montgomery and Tommy Otts; a daughter-in-law, Anita Otts; three brothers, Clark, Morris and Lavert McCoy; and a sister, Clara McCoy.

Pallbearers will be Bentley Otts, Marty Graham, Jacob Parrish, Ben Parrish, Colby Graham and Jason Warren.

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 PM Sunday and from 1 to 2 PM Monday at the funeral home.
