Big Indian –
HeidiMarie Kackos, 55 of Oliverea Road died Thursday December 20, 2012 after a courageous battle with cancer. She was born in Queens on August 20, 1957 daughter of the late George and Christel Dohnberg Jensen. She has been a resident of the Catskill's for over 35 years. Heidi was the consummate hostess, who loved to cook, and draw others into her infectious happiness! She had an over-riding concern for others, and was 'Mom' to many. She made her house a home, shared her love with all, and cherished her role as Oma.
Surviving are her husband of 35 years George Kackos, a daughter Theresa of NJ, a son Christopher of Big Indian, a brother Jerry Jensen of Catskill, two sisters; Carmen Jeffers and Lore Kackos both of Big Indian, two grandchildren; Deandre and Elise Brevil, and her four-legged family Loki and Hogan.
