She then moved back into the house where she was born in the summer of 1986, bringing her teen age daughters to live with her, her parents and her brother. In 1993 Mickey took a job as an Activities Aid at Seneca View Skilled Nursing Facility in Montour Falls, NY. She continued with this job until her retirement in 2004. Mickey had a full life of serving her community and friends through activities she enjoyed such as being active as a majorette leader, a choreographer for community plays in Nunda, NY, Mt. Morris Bowling Leagues, the Watkins Glen International Race Track, SELGA and the Watkins Glen Golf Course. She was an election Inspector and a Republican Party Poll Watcher, she worked on various political campaigns, St. Mary's Guild, St. Mary's Resurrection Choir and a true passion for her was the Prayer Shawl Ministry at St. Mary's of the Lake.
