Helen Ann Lutwitzi Taylor Miller, 80, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Friday, January 12, 2018.

Visitation is Monday, January 15, 2018 at Riley Funeral Home from 5-7 PM. Service will be Tuesday, January 16 at First United Methodist Church in Evant at 1 PM, followed by a burial at Murphree Cemetery.

Helen was born December 29, 1937 in Milwaukee, WI to Walter & Ruth Lutwitzi.

She spent many years working with the Red Cross, Girl Scouts, managing school lunchrooms, being a softball coach, PTA president. She was involved in everything with her children as they grew up.

She had four children; Stevie, Patty, Peggy and Timothy. After her kids were grown, she met and married Floyd Miller in 1988. She then became "Mom" to Deborah, Carol and Mike and Grandma to dozens more.

Helen and Floyd moved to Evant to enjoy the country and slower pace of life. They were both very active in their church, First United Methodist Church. Her and Floyd both did woodworking (Floyd crafted the big furniture and Helen made beautiful pieces from his scraps). She was well known for her unique and original children's name puzzles.

Helen was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Edith Coker; brother, Larry Lutwitzi; son, Stevie Taylor; daughter-in-law, Dorothy Miller; and grandsons, John Robison and Nick Picard.

She is survived by her loving husband, Floyd; her children; Patty Havard (Glenn), Peggy Moser (Kenny), Tim Taylor (Mindy), Deborah Picard, Carol Robison and Mike Miller; sisters, Janet Haselow and Ruth Schlicher (Peter). She is also survived by numerous dearly loved grandchildren, great and great-great grandchildren. She had many beloved nieces and nephews, with more family and friends whom she loved very much.
