Howard Everett Richards, age 75 of Ray passed away on Monday November 6, 2017 at Edgewood Manor in Wellston. He was born in Londonderry, Ohio on March 31, 1942 to the late Jacob M. Richards and Flora M. Richards.

Besides his parents he was preceded in death by children, Arnold Richards, Flora "Dolly" Richards and one infant son; brothers, Jacob Jr., Thomas "Tom", Edward "Roy" and Charles; sisters, Marilyn "May", Louise "Lou", Betty "BJ" and Judy.

Howard is survived by children, Angel (Justin) Potts and Tina (Mark) Quincel; brothers, John "Bill", Joseph "Joe", Wayne, Robert "Bub" and James "Jimmy"; sisters, Mary, M. Jane and Ethel "Rose"; grandchildren, Mark Jr. Quincel, Austin Quincel, Monica Harris, Dakota Potts, Quentin Tennant, Hannah Bail, Jordan Bail and Avery Potts; one great-grandchild, Thomas Denney and numerous nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received on Saturday November 11, 2017 from 11:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m. at the Mayhew-Brown Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to Mayhew-Brown Funeral Home to help with funeral expenses.

Arrangements are under the direction of the Mayhew-Brown Funeral Home in Jackson.
