Howard D. Lillard, 56, of Niota, IL passed away at 9:30 PM on Monday, September 21, 2015 at his home.
He was born on December 3, 1958 in Keokuk, IA to Dale and Joy Broomhall Lillard. On October 2, 1989 he married Glenda Haigh in Topeka, KS. He was a truck driver for years and also worked production at Scott's and Pinnacle Foods. Howard loved his three G's; granddaughter, guns and gardening.
Survivors include his wife, Glenda Lillard of Niota, IL; a son, Tony (Lacey Gittings) Beasley of Dallas City, IL and a granddaughter, Aspyn Beasley of Dallas City, IL. He was preceded in death by his parents and a daughter, Jessica Sue Beasley.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, October 2, 2015 from 4-6 PM at Howard and Glenda's home in Niota. Per his wishes cremation has been entrusted to King-Lynk Funeral Home & Crematory. A memorial has been established in his memory and may be sent to 583 Arbor Street, Niota, IL 62358.
