Huldah Marion Hill, age 103, passed away at her home in Kingsley on Tuesday, January 17, 2017. She was born June 7, 1913 to William and Helena (Lueck) Hill. Huldah lived her entire life in Kingsley, attending and graduating from Kingsley Public Schools.

Huldah was neighbors with the Morgan family in Kingsley, and in 1972 they welcomed her into their home when they started Morgan Assisted Living - an adult foster care home. Huldah lived with the Morgan family for over 40 years, until her passing. She was a beloved family member to them.
Huldah is remembered by those who loved her as a smart, funny, resourceful woman who loved to read, write and crochet, and who had a sweet tooth for cookies. She was a woman of few words, but when she said something, you knew exactly what she meant. She also had a few famous saying, for instance when asked how she was, she replied, "As good as I am, no worse than I have to be."

Huldah will be greatly missed by her adopted family; Joe Morgan, Josette (Bill) Hoch, Monique (Chip) Nickerson, Willis Morgan and Jack (Brandi) Morgan and families.

She was preceded in death by her parents; siblings Martin, Wilma and Gladys; and Jackie Morgan.

A funeral is planned for 1:00 p.m. Saturday, January 21, 2017 with visitation at 12:00 p.m. at Covell Funeral Home in Kingsley. Burial will take place this spring in her family plot at Evergreen Cemetery.

Arrangements entrusted to Covell Funeral Home of Kingsley.
