Obituary for Ilse Schauer

ILSE SCHAUER, 88, passed away December 27, 2019 surrounded by her family. Beloved wife of the late Robert J. Schauer. Proud and loving mother of Robert E Schauer (deceased), Mary Buttner (Billy), Rose Wank (Doug), Nancy Artim (Bob), William, John (Debi) and Patty Banning. Loving grandmother of 17: Bobby, David, Marie, Erika, Bill, Brian, Kristin, Steve, Chris, Rob, Jessica, Joey, Billy, Jonathan, Matthew, Megan and Tommy. Great grandmother of 14: Alex, MyKayla, Mallori, Danny, Kayleigh, Jaryn, Andrew, Ava, Matthew, Brayden, Curran, Benny, Ava and Cash.

Ilse was also preceded in death by her loving younger sisters Ursula and Brigitte as well as five younger siblings who perished in Germany during or following World War ll.

Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, January 18, 2020 at 10:00 am at Saint Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, 25801 Royalton Rd., Columbia Station OH 44028 in celebration of Ilse's life. *Please note - Ilse's favorite color was red and we ask that you please wear red in her honor.
