J Alan Chalmers Obituary

When I was in college, I went out with Alan, then called Bo-Bo, in his yellow VW. Later, I met Hillary and reconnected with Alan during one of my infrequent trips to our farm in Londonderry, after my late husband passed away at an early age. He was a unique person, seeming to live his life on his own terms. And he longed to not be dependent on his children but retire to his "cabin" up in the hills where he lived when I met him.

I will miss knowing he was there.
