Mrs. Jacquelyn Dees Andrews, age 73, passed away at her home on Saturday, June 17, 2017. She is preceded in death by her mother, Iris Preston, daughter, Sandra Lynn Andrews, son, Anthony M. Andrews, step-brother, Kenneth Preston and daughter-in-law, Stephanie Andrews. Mrs. Andrews retired in 1996 after many years of service with the Chickasaw Housing Authority. She was a longtime member of Wilson Avenue Baptist Church. Mrs. Andrews family will remember her love of the Bible , having read it completely 13 times, and her love of her family. She is survived by her husband John G. Andrews, Sr., children; Regina Andrews Pierce (Colby), Madonna Kay Andrews and John G. Andrews, Jr. She is also survived by her daughter-in-law, Marsha Andrews, brothers-in-law, James Andrews, William B. Andrews (Henri Jean); sister-in-law Virginia Gantt (Billy); seven grandchildren; Jarod Pierce, Allie Pierce, Megan Andrews, Makenzie Andrews, Jesse Andrews, Courtney Andrews, Brooklyn Andrews and Natacia. Visitation will be held at Wilson Avenue Baptist Church on Thursday, June 22, 2017 from 10:00 a.m. until service time of 12:00 p.m. Interment will follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery .Arrangements under the direction of Radney Funeral Home, Saraland, AL.
