James H. Bradshaw, III, 69, of Lewisberry, passed away Tuesday, March 13, 2012, at the York Hospital. He was born November 21, 1942, in Huntington County, NY, the son of Harriett A. (Meyer) of Venice, FL and the late James H. Bradshaw, Jr. James was a self employed tool salesman and was a member of the Warrington Township Board of Supervisors for 20 years and served as its Chairman for the last 18 years. He is survived by his wife, Rebecca A. (Hoke) Bradshaw; one son, James H. Bradshaw, IV of York Springs; one daughter, Jennifer S. Bradshaw of Gettysburg; one step-son, Jesse A. Knaub of Gordonville; one step-daughter, Abigail L. Knaub of Lewisberry; one brother, Gregory Bradshaw of Venice, FL; and one sister, Gene Abeles and her husband Steve of Centerport, NY. He also leaves behind five grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Memorial services will be held Friday, March 16, 2012, at 7:00 pm in the Cocklin Funeral Home, Inc., 30 N. Chestnut St., Dillsburg. A visitation will be held Friday from 5:30-7:00 pm at the funeral home. Private burial will be held on Tilghman Island, MD. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Assoc., 1019 Mumma Rd., Wormleysburg, PA 17043 or the Warrington Township Municipal Park, 3345 Rosstown Rd., Wellsville, PA 17365.
