James J. Miller, Jr.
James J. Miller, age 53, of Nelson, died Saturday, November 22, 2014 at Dixon Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center.
James was born September 7, 1961 in Dixon the son of James J., Sr. and Merle (Walker) Miller. He farmed in Nelson for 45 years.
Survivors include one daughter, Emma Miller of Rock Falls; one son, Jacob Miller of Rock Falls; his fiancé', Hope Juno of Nelson; and two sisters, Margaret Ann (Butch) Beltran of Las Vegas, Nev. and Mary (Keith) Hewitt of Denver, Colo.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Visitation will be Tuesday, November 25, 2014 from 5 – 7 PM at the McDonald Funeral Home in Rock Falls. Funeral services will be Wednesday, November 26, 2014 at 10:00 AM at the funeral home. Burial will be at Nelson Cemetery.
A memorial has been established for his children's education fund.
