James Rose, 78, of Alleene, AR passed away September 25, 2013 at a local hospital.

Mr. Rose was born June 11, 1935 to James Taylor & Ollie Bell Rose Sr. in Climax, AR. He was a Methodist and worked at the Papermill for many years. He is preceded in death by his parents and sisters.

Survivors include his wife Dwanda Rose of Alleene, AR; two daughters, Judy Rose and Peggy Rose of Alleene, AR; special friend Bub Mears of Alleene, AR; grandchildren, Tom & Wendy Watson of Goodwater, OK, Mitchell Lincoln of Little Rock, AR, Justin & Cheyenne Shoemaker of Omaha, TX; great grandchildren, Jim Watson, Eden Shoemaker, John Tom Watson, Megan Watson, Lori Watson, Ben Watson, Matt Watson, Tamara Smart, and Alan Adcock,

Graveside Services will be Friday September 27, 2013 at 2:00 pm at Alleene Cemetery in Alleene, AR with Rev. Audie Dawson officiating.

Visitation will be Thursday September 26, 2013 from 5 to 7 pm at Madden Funeral Home in Ashdown, AR
