Jason was born on December 20, 1985, in Buffalo, NY, and passed away suddenly on November 25, 2017. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Joseph H. Astroth, Sr., and grandmother, Frances L. Wiernicki. He is survived by his father Brian Astroth, mother Lynne Astroth, sister Brittany Astroth, all of Midlothian, VA, grandfather Zygmunt Wiernicki of Marcy, NY, grandmother Marjorie Astroth of Boca Raton, FL, Aunts and Uncles, Janet Thompson, Delray Beach, FL, August Astroth and Carolyn Henry, Charlotte, NC, Joe and Kay Astroth, San Rafael, CA, Doug and Cheryl Boisvert, Kokomo, IN, David and Kathy (Lou) Wiernicki, Sanford, ME, and his many cousins and spouses Matthew Astroth, Garnett (NM) and Hannah Cook (FL), Greg, Carrie, Ollie and Ethan Astroth (NC), Nick, Sarah and Bennett Astroth (NC), Joseph, Lizzie and Henry Astroth (CA), Justin, Candyce and Theo Astroth (VA), Kyle Astroth (CA), Corie Astroth (CA), Emily, Andrew, Audrey and Hastings Carter (FL), Katy, Jordan, Caden and Addie Kauffman (TX), Danielle Boisvert (IN), Zachary, Amanda, Greyson and Carter Zig Wiernicki (NH), Brandon, Jennifer, Braydon and Ashton Wiernicki (MA), Jared and Marketa Wiernicki (MA),
Jason, who was a Certified Auto Technician, was an avid fan of auto racing.especially Kyle Busch #18, the Liverpool Football Club, Philadelphia Flyers, and Buffalo Bills. He enjoyed reading, gardening, nature.especially the James River, good beer and good people and was particularly interested in holistic healing and nutrition. He played ice hockey and baseball for many years while growing up and was a part of many great teams. His love for and bond with animals was amazing and it was very important to him. Through Jason's life he was lucky to have many good friends and some great relationships. The family will receive friends Friday December 1, 2017 from 5 to 8 pm and where a memorial service will be held Saturday, December 2, at 2:00 pm.
