Memorial Services Friday, January 19th for Jasper Messmore

Memorial services for Jasper Messmore IV, age 73, will be held Friday, January 19, 2018 in the
Chapel of the Roswell Methodist Church at one p.m. The Chapel is located at 814 Mimosa Blvd.
in Roswell.

A successful businessman, Jasper Messmore was owner of Jasper Curb, Inc. and was responsible
for construction work for many years throughout the Atlanta metro area.
Messmore died peacefully at the family home on Sunny Brook Farm Road in Dunwoody on
Sunday after treatment for emphysema for several month and then under hospice care.

A handsome man with great wit and a strong personality, Jasper had a friendly word for
everyone. He proudly displayed his impressive miniature train collection for many years which
occupied the basement area of their home.

Messmore is survived by his mother, Violet "Polly" Dodd; his wife of 20 years, Ann Sports
Messmore; and was the devoted "father and grandfather" to Ann's children, the late Greg
Giddens, and Joseph Giddens; and three grandchildren, Lonnie Giddens and Loren Giddens
Bright, and Eli Giddens.

Rev. Nancy Lane will officiate during the memorial service. Special record music by the
Roswell Methodist Church Choir, of which Ann is a member, will be featured inthe service with
a solo by Penny Fonner. A family tribute will e given by Ann's brother, Joe Sports.

Visitation time with the family will be available during a brief reception following the service

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Jasper's memory and honor to Roswell United Methodist Church "Senior Choir".
