Jeanine J. "Freddie" Stomberg, 64, of Vernon, died unexpectedly on Friday, February 11, 2022, at Hartford Hospital. She was born on May 13, 1957, in Rockville, CT. Freddie grew up in Rockville and graduated from Rockville High School. She worked as a chef at the Chuck Wagon Restaurant in Ellington for over 25 years. She loved her job and enjoyed the co-workers and customers who became her friends and family over the years. In her spare time, she enjoyed unplanned road trips and a scrumptious lobster meal, and trips to her favorite place, Misquamicut, Rhode Island. She was a kind, caring, and loving woman who will be dearly missed. She leaves her daughter, Heather Pratt of Windsor Locks; her brother, Kenneth Horn and his wife Maria of TN; her granddaughter, Adrianna Rodriguez of Windsor Locks; and her ling time dear friend Chris Desmond of Crystal Lake. Her family will receive friends for calling hours on Wednesday, February 23, 2022, at the Ladd and Carmon Funeral Home, 19 Ellington Ave., Rockville. Cremation Society of Connecticut has care of the arrangements.
