I have some very good memorys of Jerry and a few bad ones. I will only talk about the good ones now as the bad ones are forgotten! Jerry was a sweet talker when he was young and I fell hoplessly in love with him when I was 15 and he was 21! I thought our love could endure any test! We got pregnant and were so happy about expecting a little one! When he lost his job as a longshoreman, He changed and things got bad. I had my beutiful baby girl when I was 16 and too young to raise her alone. Life went on. I did see Jerry a few times after our divorce but he and I were in another relationship so we went our seperate ways with each others blessings. As years went by I always missed him and hoped he thought of me in a favorable way. I always knew, gratfully, where he was via his sister's emails and saw him again a few times before he died! We had some nice talks! I will always remember Jerry as the young handsom man that swept me off my feet When we were young and I'll miss those days the most!

Jerry was my birth father and I had only met him a couple times and exchanged maybe 3 letters in my entire life. Him and my birth mother got divorced when I was a baby and never seemed to want to have a relationship with me but I understand him as a loner and I respect his decision. I was surprised to see this obit because I didn't know where he was but I do know he was an alcoholic.
