Jerry Mack Rawls 74, went to be with his Lord and personal Savior Saturday March 4th 2017.
He was born to the late Claudie Haywood Rawls and Evelyn White Rawls. Jerry was known for
his humbleness and kindred spirit. He was a loving and dedicated husband, Father,
Grandfather and Friend.

Jerry's career was a Vocational Rehabilitation Counselor for over 32 years. He was an avid
Duke Fan, He was known by all for his incredible athletic abilities. Jerry Graduated from Bear
Grass High School and went on to Graduate from East Carolina University where he played on
their baseball team. He continued to play ball throughout his life right up to his death. He was
a Cryptograph Operator at the Pentagon For the U.S. Air Force coding and decoding
messages. He proudly served his country.

Jerry was a member of Roberson Chapel Church and had a special connection with Macedonia.
He was the first person to be baptized in the church's new baptistery at Macedonia. He also
had another first, he always said , he was the first batter up in the newly organized Williamston
Little League Baseball Youth Sports Organization.

A celebration of Lite Service will be held Wednesday March 8, 2017 at Biggs Funeral Home.
Family will receive friends from 1:00 until 3:00 with a 3:00 service immediately following the
visitation and other times at the home on 1998 Roberson Chapel Road, Williamston, NC.
lnterment following at Woodlawn Cemetery.

He was preceded in death by his parents, a sister Dorothy Vagnozzi, Brothers, Bobby Eugene
and Wayne Bawls.

He is survived by his wife Diane Council Rawls, children, Bobby Rawls and wife Brooke,
Daughter Robbin Mizell and husband Jerry, stepdaughters Melissa Woolard and husband
Timmy and Tammy Lauterer and 8 beloved grandchildren, Taylor, Cole and Landon Woolard,
Gage, Dane and lvy Grace Mizell, Larykn and London Rawls . He Also leaves behind his
precious animals Jack, Jamie and Footfoot.
