Jesse B. Renfroe, Jr., 69, passed from this life Saturday, January 13, 2018, at the V.A. Medical Center in Jackson.

Visitation will be 5:00-8:00pm, Tuesday, January 16, 2018, at Baldwin-Lee Funeral Home in Pearl. Funeral services are 1:00pm, Wednesday, January 17, 2018, in the funeral home chapel with interment in Brandon Memorial Gardens.

Jesse was born July 5, 1948, in McComb, Mississippi, a son of the late Jesse B. Renfroe, Sr. and Mary Chisolm Renfroe Loflin. He was a graduate of Florence High School and Mississippi College where he received a Master's Degree.

Jesse was a decorated veteran of the U.S. Marine Corp, having received the Purple Heart, National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Service Medal, Vietnam Cross of Gallantry, Vietnam Campaign Medal and Bronze Star Medal. He was a teacher for Pearl High School, and then joined NAPA Auto Parts, where he retired after 30 years of dedicated service in sales and management. Jesse's hobbies included riding his motorcycle and driving his 1986 Corvette, listening to rock and roll, and hunting. His favorite times were spent with his family, and he was always up for a trip to the mountains or the beach.

Survivors include his wife of 36 years, Nita Kay Renfroe; sons, Jesse B. Renfroe, III, Daniel Renfroe and wife Tiffany, and Andy Bynum; daughters, Charla Barnes and husband Eric, and Morgan Bandy and husband Adam; brother, Glenn Renfroe and wife Paula; sister, Nancy Brown; and grandchildren, Brooke, Hannah, Connor, Kolton, Leigh, Katelynn, Kaiden, and Gibson; and his canine companion, Eddie.
