Jessie Leathers, 93, of Ben Lomond, Arkansas died Saturday, June 28, 2014 in Texarkana, Texas. She was a member of the Ben Lomond Assembly of God. She was retired from the Ashdown School District cafeteria. Mrs. Leathers was preceded in death by her husband Charles Leathers, two brothers, and one sister.

Survivors include two daughters and son-in-law Jean Hudson of Lenoir City, TN; and Joy (Dan) Krull of Texarkana, TX. Three brothers, Ray Griffin of Pottsville, AR; J.B. Griffin of Chicago, IL; Frank Griffin of Jacksonville, FL. Three Grandchildren Chuck McBroom, Jessica Altenbaumer, and Matthew Krull. Five Great- Grandchildren Amy Altenbaumer, Leisl Krull, Reagan and Megan Altenbaumer, and Elizabeth Krull.

Visitation will be Monday June 30, 2014 from 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. at the funeral home. Serivces will be Tuesday July 1, 2014 10:00 A.M. at Madden Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at Ben Lomond Cemetery in Ben Lomond, AR. Steven Miller and Fred Calhoun will officiate.
